Val Venis Biography

The following biography is from Wikipedia.org “The Free Encyclopedia.”

Sean Morley, better known as Val Venis or The Big Valbowski (born on March 6, 1971 in Oakville, Ontario) is a Canadian professional wrestler currently performing for World Wrestling Entertainment on the RAW brand.

Career

World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment

He debuted in the then-WWF as a face to start with in 1998 and has enjoyed moderate success since then. He is also a self described libertarian, and the former brother-in-law of fellow WWE superstar Edge.

Val Venis, Morley's wrestling persona, was created out of political conservative Sean Morley's sense of humor. He was presented on screen as a well-endowed porn star, becoming the focus of an outrageous angle which involved him having an affair with Mrs. Yamaguchi-San and nearly being castrated by Japanese stable Kaientai (Taka Michinoku, Funaki, Dick Togo, Men's Teioh, and Wally Yamaguchi) in the summer of 1998.

Morley later turned heel by aligning himself with Trish Stratus. Shortly after this, he became a member of the Right to Censor stable, becoming a censorship-based character, directly contrasting with his previously provocative on-screen character. He had very little presence in the major Invasion storyline, only returning regularly to television on Smackdown! once the WCW/ECW Alliance had been defeated. On his return (now with the nickname "The Big Valbowski"), he turned face by joining forces with then babyface and then SmackDown! star, Edge.

Upon being drafted back to RAW, Morley was appointed "Chief of Staff" by RAW's General Manager, Eric Bischoff, turning heel once again whilst acting as Bischoff's assistant. However, shortly into his tenure, Bischoff "fired" Chief Morley on-screen, only for him to be quickly re-hired by RAW's then co-G.M., Stone Cold Steve Austin. This caused him to turn face for the third time by siding with the fans, even going so far as to change his name back to Val Venis.
