Oliver Martyn John Phelps was born 13
minutes before his twin brother, James Andrew Eric Phelps, on February
25, 1986 in England, United Kingdom. They are best known for their roles
as Fred and George Weasley in the Harry Potter series of films. The two
of them grew up in Sutton Coldfield, outside of Birmingham, England.
Both Oliver and James are 1.91 m (or 6'3"),
they both claimed this at CauldronCon. Both have brown hair which is
dyed ginger for the movies. One way to tell James and Oliver apart is by
the mole on the right side of Oliver's neck; James doesn't have one.
James has a mole on his left arm, though.
Trivia
The brothers switched places on set once,
only to be caught and forced to redo all the scenes over again.
Oliver hates rats, he disliked working with
one on a scene in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
Both have appeared in many high school
drama productions.
James seems to be the calmer twin and
Oliver the more energetic one.
The boys enjoy playing soccer and golf.
Their favorite bands include Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Queen,
and Bon Jovi.
James' favorite color is blue while
Oliver's is red.
James' favorite book is Harry Potter and
the Prisoner of Azkaban and Oliver's is Harry Potter and the Goblet of
Fire.
