Michael Jordan was born on
February 17, 1963 in Brooklyn, New York.

He grew up in Wilmington,
North Carolina and attended Laney High School.

Starred for the University
of North Carolina basketball team.

Drafted in the first round
by the Chicago Bulls in 1984 (#3 overall). He also was
on the Gold Medal Olympic team that year.

He had his first of three
children in 1998 with wife Juanita: Jeffrey
Michael (11/1998); Marcus James (12/1990); and
Jasmine Michael (12/1992)

Won his second gold medal
for basketball with the USA Dream Team in 1992
