Lisa Marie Varon, better known as Victoria (born Lisa Marie Sole on February 10, 1971 in San Bernardino, California) is a professional wrestling valet and wrestler for World Wrestling Entertainment on its RAW brand.

Career

In 1997 and 1998 she was on ESPN's "Fitness America Series." Varon won the competition in 1997. A former wrestler in Ultimate Pro Wrestling, she has been voted WOW Magazine's 1999 Babe of the Year.

 

She was born to a Puerto Rican father and a Turkish mother. There is a running gag on Lance Storm's website that Varon is his sister, but the two are not actually related. She debuted in the World Wrestling Federation as one of the Godfather's escorts. Her wrestling inspiration is Ivory (Lisa Moretti). Later contracted as a wrestler, she moved to Ohio Valley Wrestling to train with Molly Holly (Nora Greenwald).

 

Under the name Queen Victoria (after the historical figure of the same name), she managed Doug Basham and the Damaja (who later became the Basham Brothers in WWE). She finally returned to WWE television as a heel on July 7th, 2002 to side with Molly Holly and become, Steven Richards' valet. She also wrestled in the Women's Division, becoming the WWE Women's Champion on November 17 at Survivor Series 2002.

 

She went on to win the Women's champion again after defeating Molly Holly as a face in February 2004 on an episode of RAW.

 

On May 30, 2005 Victoria becam a heel once again by attacking Christy Hemme following a swimsuit contest, citing jealousy at the opportunities Hemme had received. Her actions were met with applause by the audience. Three weeks later Victoria knocked Hemme unconscious with a glass pitcher, leaving her bleeding from the back of the head. Victoria then went on to defeat Christy Hemme at the Vengeance Pay per view on June 26th 2005.
