Eva Longoria
was born on March 15, 1975 in Corpus Christi,
Texas to
Enrique Longoria, Jr., and Ella Eva Mireles
Longoria. She has three older sisters.

She went to
Miller High School in Corpus Christi and
attended Texas A&M University-Kingsville,
graduating with a degree in
Kinesiology.

In 1996, she
won the
Miss Texas A&M
University-Kingsville pageant.

Her first
professional acting experience came as a flight
attendant on the TV show Beverly Hills 90125,
then received the full time part of
Isabella Braņa Williams the
following year in the daytime soap opera
Young and the Restless. For her performance,
she won the
ALMA Award for Outstanding Actress in a
Daytime Drama.

In
January 2002 she married Tyler Christopher the
marriage ended three years later in divorce in
July 2005.

Although she
has appeared in other movies, television shows
and theatre, her big break came in 2004 when she
landed the role of
Gabrielle Solis in the hit
show Desperate Housewives. Herself and
the cast of the show won the 2005 Screen Actor's
Guild Award for
Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a
Comedy Series (shared with Andrea Bowen, Ricardo
Chavira,
Marcia Cross, Steven Culp, Jamie Denton,
Teri Hatcher,
Felicity
Huffman, Cody Kasch, Jesse
Metcalfe, Mark Moses,
Nicollette Sheridan, and Brenda Strong)

In 2004 she also
showed her acting talent on the big screen in
Carlita's Secret, for which she was
nominated for the DVDX Award for Best Actress.

Eva has been listed
at the #1 spot in Maxim's Top 100 List
for 2005. In 2005 she has also been signed as
the
L'Oreal image girl.

Besides modeling and her role on Desperate
Housewives, this busy actress also stars in
two movies being released next year, Harsh
Times with
Christian
Bale and The Sentinel with Michael
Douglas.
