Christian Coulson: Biography

Christian Coulson (born 3 October 1978) is a British actor most notable for his film appearance as Tom Marvolo Riddle, the teenaged Lord Voldemort in the second installment of the Harry Potter film franchise, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. After attending Westminster School in London on an academic scholarship, Coulson went on to Cambridge University, where he received his degree in 2000. At school in Cambridge, Coulson played the Emcee in Cabaret, Arturo Ui in The Resistable Rise of Arturo Ui and 'Claire' in The Maids. He continued to act on stage in productions of Romeo and Juliet and Journey's End earning excellent reviews.

 

In addition to acting on screen in television and in film, he was a member of the UK's National Youth Music Theatre from 1990-1997.
