Charlotte Arnold: Biography

Charlotte Arnold was born on July 27, 1989 in Toronto, Canada. She has two brothers. As a young child her passion was dance, especially ballet, but eventually also got into the love of acting as well.

 

At the tender age of seven she received her first acting role as Kate O’Neil in the made for TV movie Giant Mine.  Then after a few minor roles, she received critical acclaim for her next role in the movie Custody of the Heart in which she received the nominated for the 2001 Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Movie (Comedy or Drama) for a Young Actress Age Ten or Under.

 

Over the next few years she received roles in a few more made for TV movies  in 2000 and 2001 such as Harlan County War, One Kill, Range of Motion, and Jewel.  In 2001, she also lent her voice to the television series Committed. She made her big screen debut in 2001 in The Safety of Objects and made her second appearance the following year in Time of the Wolf.

 

In 2005, she received her big break when she was given the role of Sadie Hawthorne on the series Natural Sadie with moderate reviews.  While filming the show, the cast had some fun when they appeared in a music video (“California”) by the band Uncensored.

 

Hobbies & Interests: Languages (she speaks fluent English and French and is learning Latin and Spanish as well); Supports charities such as a tree advocacy program in Toronto, Canada.

 

Favorites: Sport = hokey; musicians = The Clash, Rancid, Pete Doherty, Frank Sinatra, The Beatles and Bright Eye.
