Brook Burke was born on September 8, 1971 in
Hartford, Connecticut to Donna and George
Brooke. Her
parents divorced and she moved to
Tucson, Arizona with her mother and stepfather
Armen Hatounian when she was young and she grew
up there. She was beautiful at a young age and
won her first beauty pageant in 1985 at the age
of 14 and went into the world of modeling.

She received a scholarship to Santa Monica
College and UCLA to study broadcast journalism.
While in college, she continued to model, and
appeared in a number of Frederick’s of Hollywood
catalogs.

She made her acting debut in a Los Angeles
revival of the off-Broadway play Pieces (of
Ass).

In 1999, she became an instant hit on cable
television (E!) as the beautiful host of Wild
On . . . where she takes viewers to "wild"
places throughout the world. The show was seen
in 120 countries in 400 million homes weekly.

In
2000 she began to manufacture here own line of
sexy clothing called Barely Brooke.

After dating Garth Fisher for three years, they
got married in 2001 (he is a
plastic surgeon on TV's Extreme Makeover) and they
have two daughters (Neriah (b. 3/00) and Sierra
Sky
(b. 4/02)).

In 2001 she also shed all her clothing for
Playboy magazine and appeared nude in the
May 2001 issue.

In 2001, she also left Wild On to host
another show on E! entitled Rank which
lasted until 2003.

In 2003 she began pursuing an acting career and
appeared in Dodgeball with Ben Stiller in
2003, then also appeared in The Hazing
and Knuckle Sandwich in 2004. In
addition, she has since also made a few
television appearances.

She published a book entitled Destinations
in 2004 which is a guide to the interesting and
fun places she introduced us to in Wild On.

In
July 2005, she announced that she was going to
be divorcing Garth Fisher.

She has also lent her voice to EA’s videogame
Need for Speed: Underground 2.
