Ashlee Simpson was born on
October 3, 1984 in Dallas, Texas to parents Joe
and Tina Simpson. Her older sister is pop
star Jessica
Simpson.

She enjoyed dancing at a
very young age, and is one of the youngest
people to ever be enrolled at the School of
American Ballet at age 11.

She has made a few
appearances on various television shows,
including a reoccurring role on TVs
Seventh Heaven.

In 2004 she broke out from
the shadow of her sister with a "reality" show
on MTV, and the release of her first album,
which sold very well.
